If he had properly credited Barbosa to the Suns instead of the Spurs, Phoenix might have been #1.

We've discussed this analysis more than once over the years... now its only of historical interest. Heck, the only reason the Suns look good is the great picks that Percudani made prior to 2003 or thereabouts. I think Amare is our only good pick since Dick died.

Dick Percudani was scouting for the Suns from 1983 to 2001. No coincidence.

Hopefully, we have entered a new era of success with McD. With all the complaining of Suns fans here about Suns drafts, this just goes to show how hard it is, league wide, to make good draft picks. I had never thought of the Suns being one of the top drafting teams in the league. I thought of them as a little better than average during that time.

Little known fact, when Perc was a high school coach (assistant), he had a tall skinny kid named Lew Alcindor on his team.
