Not that it really matters but I'm a little surprised they released Barron and not Siler. Either way, it was a logical followup move.

As mentioned in another post, I'm glad the Suns are keeping project center, Siler, who I believe can still develop.

That leaves us with 13 for the roster. The move seems a bit premature considering Lopez and his injury history. He made a meager $700K and we aren't in danger of the luxury tax. Maybe this was made to open up space for another deal. It is likely that we'll take back more players then we send out in any Carter deal especially considering Carter can't be packaged with another player until the trade deadline. I wouldn't mind picking up Scottie Reynolds from the D league as a little insurance in case Nash goes down.

Expected. They gave Barron a good look and minutes, but he just does not fit in right now.

If Barron didn't blow offensively he might have stuck around. Dude can't make a layup. I'm amazed at last year's performance when he was hitting 15-16 foot jumpers on the baseline!!

It's a shame they didn't keep him long enough to get his FG% up to .250. It would have been a nice gesture. They could have put him in at the end of a blowout and fed him for three point-blank dunks -- if he makes one of them, there you go!

I remember seeing that in highlight videos of his 9 games with the Knicks, jagu. At first EJ kept saying he'd relax after a few games and start hitting shots - he probably saw him doing it in practice. Of course, its probably the case that most of the guys that make it as far as getting an invite to training camp can shoot lights out in practice.

I used to practice golf shots alongside a young pro who was getting ready to try the PGA tour - he was deadly accurate at everything. I told him I didn't see how he could possibly fail the way he shot. He said if I watched any pro from the tour practicing I'd see the same thing. He said you couldn't believe how the pressure wreaked havoc on your stroke. (Any old Phoenix golfer will know how long ago that was - he had one of the first sets of irons that Karsten Solheim made and they were brand new.)

His 30% TS percentage has too be a record for someone with as many attempts as him. I have never seen a more inept offensive player in the NBA(or at least not one without any shame that will keep jacking up shots).

He doesn't know when to jump. This is why he misses dunks. I doubt if his percentage would go up. :p
