Suns sign Eddie Jarell

The Suns are sign Eddie Jarell to a ten day contract. He is a small forward. I'm not sure about the Suns thinking.

He is 25 years old.

It appears the Suns signed him because they have shut down several players in Knight, Chandler and Bledsoe. Also Bender is still out.

Why are both Bledsoe and Chandler shut down? Injury? I know Knight is done because of his back.

They want to assess younger players going into the summer and draft: In particular, Ulis, Williams, Len, and DJJr.

I think the Suns want to preserve Chandler for next season. Also they want to evaluate Len and Williams.

Bledsoe had a sore knee but was trying to play through it. In a meaningless season I think this is a good idea to sit him. It is also a chance to get Ulis more playing time.
