What the hell are they doing? This all looks like a scheme to avoid playing Goodwin and other unknowns on the roster. What lottery-bound team signs a 27-year-old nobody to a 10-day contract in April? It's idiotic.

Maybe he's another "asset"? :D

I'm guessing Knight is getting shut down.

This would be an excellent guess and it makes sense. However, I thought I read somewhere that Hornacek wanted to see more of Bledsoe and Knight playing together this season.

I'm also wondering if the Suns are going to bring Len back if he has a broken nose. I suppose there are protective masks but still, why push it.

Put Len in big man school and give Goodwin 30 mpg. What are these guys thinking, jeez.

Here is an interesting development:

Paul Coro @paulcoro · 51m 51 minutes ago

Jerel McNeal, a Bakersfield call-up, signed a #Suns contract through 2015-16. Next season becomes guaranteed shortly after summer league.

I don't understand the signing unless the Suns want him to participate in summer league. He hasn't shown much since being called up from the D-League on a 10 day contract. I would have been more interested in David Stockton before he signed with the Kings.

I haven't anything about Alec Brown whose stats were sparse in the D-League, however, he is a legit 7 foot.

Its shortly after the Summer League, as in, they can play him in the Summer League and then cut him before his contract is guaranteed.

I especially want the Suns to look at every available center and PF in summer league that have the potential to play in the NBA.

I don't understand this move either.

Would rather Bullock and Goodwin get all minutes than this guy.

I understand the Bakersfield Jam will play the Austin Spurs tomorrow (D-League) for a playoff series win. The game is supposed to be on ESPN News at 11 a.m. Phoenix time. This will give dedicated fans a chance to see Alec Brown among other players. The series is tied 1-1 with the remaining game to be played in Texas.

I'm hoping someone watches the game as I will unfortunately miss the game.
