The Suns sign PG Seth Curry to a 10 day contract likely because Brandon Knight will be out Wednesday.

Brandon Knight (left ankle sprain) is officially listed as out for Wednesday's #SunsVsWolves game. He was on crutches at today's practice.

Based on what I've read about him in the NBA, he's a PG that doesn't really pass the ball. Seems redundant if you as ask me.

He is a pretty good shooter though.

Seth Curry (Suns 10-day, per @ShamsCharania) is the sixth "other" brother on the Suns in 7 years - Lopez, Griffin, Collins, Zeller, Plumlee.

Personally I wanted the Suns to trade for Mason Plumlee.

The Suns could certainly use another shooter after the departure of IT.

Saw him play plenty of times for the Warriors D League team in Santa Cruz. He was always a crowd favorite. He can score in bunches but there's no D and he rarely passed the ball.

Plus Z. Dragic, plus both Morrises, really. It has become a creepy fascination.

I think we already had Seth Curry in summer league and I think even in training camp.

I just hope he does not see playing time. There is no reason he should take minutes from Archie now.

Maybe you could play him instead of Thornton or Green who both are likely not part of the team next year..

I want the Suns to think about David Stockton as well. He played in the Suns summer league. Never can have enough PGs.

Actually Stockton is a PG.

I'm sure the Suns signing Brandan Wright as a backup center had something to do with analytics. McDonough should have taken a look at the size of NBA centers before doing so... like Timofey Mozgov.

There was nothing wrong whatsoever with obtaining Wright. He has been effective and efficient--exactly what he should be as a backup. Much better than Randolph or Plumlee.

These snide quips are really starting to bug me. I think I need to take a break from this board for a while.

I was expressing my opinion, nothing more. It's getting harder to speak one's opinion without someone taking offense. If the Suns had not given up the Minnesota pick for him I would feel differently. I will be surprised if Wright stays with the Suns beyond this season.

As much as I am hoping that Alex Len can overcome his foul problems and potential health problems, with those frailties, the Suns need someone stronger at backup Center than Wright. Especially when the next choice is Markieff Morris at Center.

There are too many Centers in the NBA who can out-muscle Wright. Being effective against a few is not good enough.

But, sadly, he fits the Suns image of playing small.

When is Knight supposed to return? I know the team isn't in a serious playoff push but I'd rather them not shell out big money to another FA who missed half of the season with the team. Sure we got Knight halfway through this season but not seeing how well him and Bledsoe play together before re-signing him is a recipe for disaster.

I always thought the Suns were going after BPA strategy when they went after Knight. Maybe the Suns backup plan is to trade Bledsoe or Knight.

Another thought. Maybe the Suns are strengthening the PG position for a playoff push by signing Price. I know, but this might be the way the Suns think. Then they activate Granger to see if he can add some shooting.
