The Phoenix Suns (35-44) host the NBA's top team Oklahoma City Thunder (65-14) on Wednesday, April 9, airing on Arizona's Family (Ch. 3 TV) at 7 p.m.

This is the Suns' second of back-to-back games as part of a three-game homestand and the last of a three-game season series against the Thunder. The Suns are coming off their season's second-worst loss, 133-95 to the Golden State Warriors at home on April 8.

The Suns have just three games left in the regular season and must win them all while having No. 10 Dallas lose their last three, to take the final play-in spot, which the Mavs now hold three games ahead of Phoenix. A loss to the Thunder will eliminate the Suns from play-in contention, as will a Dallas win over the Lakers.

The Suns are mired in an abysmal seven-game skid, averaging 25-point losses during that span, and are nine games under the .500 mark. Top scorer Kevin Durant (left ankle sprain) is out for the fifth straight game against his former team OKC. Phoenix is looking to avoid a season sweep by Oklahoma City, which will be without its MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (left shin contusion)
