A lot of guys having solid games, great hustle from Morris. It was nice to see Gentry get really pissed at Beasley's stupidity. I even saw Brown with a nice pass... I couldnt believe it.

I understand Rubio is out tonight due to back spasms.

This has been, by far, Scola's best game as a Sun. He and Dragic have kept us in this thing all night.

What a brick free throw to seal our fate there.

My kind of game in this kind of season. A highly entertaining, hard fought game that results in a narrow defeat.

And I think Beasley might have hooked up with his old dealer before the game. He was totally out of it, even by the Sleaze's standards.

I agree with everything in your post. Well, with one exception. My perfect season would involve playing the younger guys as much as possible. I think it's clear what Beasley brings to the table but it's time to remove all doubt about Marshall, Johnson and Morris. I think Morris is a keeper but will always be an occasional disappointment. I'm not sure any of the other younger players will ever develop but there's just no reason not to play them and find that out. I also think a drug test might put Beasley out of the game for awhile. It's pure speculation but he just doesn't look engaged out there.

Down by 3, with a chance to tie, and they can't even inbound the ball. Twice. And I think they still had a timeout left to burn. Fundamentals are lost on this team. Quite a few missed layups too. And not boxing out. And no one who can even hit consecutive jumpers.

IMO, this is the worst thing about watching the Suns when they go deep into their bench. They do not have young talent worthy of watching or developing. What you see is what you get. I do not even have much hope for Morris other than as a career backup PF. His brother in Houston is playing better. I do not enjoy watching Beasley, Marshall, Johnson, Garrett and Zeller. Even Tucker's play seems to have tailed off. The future is bleak except for cap space and draft picks. And if Blanks is the one evaluating talent... there goes the future.

From NBA.com's write up of the Twolves Suns game.

Ouch.

Talk about an understatement. That should be right move, incredibly stupid move. I'll admit, I wasn't all that angry over the deal when it happened but I really hadn't watched him much. The more I see of him the harder it is to understand why management made this attempt. And, if we were dead set on signing the guy, why not a minimum contract. I refuse to believe we were in competition for his services.
