That trade appears to really help the Knicks and that's it. If we're going to scrap the season (my vote) and start trading for the future we need to move more than Carter and I'd hope we'd get more than this out of the deal. Also, why would Denver bother trading Melo if that's all they're going to get?

We will receive other bad contract if move more players like Childress or Warrick. Nash is still a important part in Suns, I hope he can finish the current contract and let him go.

Melo must using his "Early Termination Option" after the season, and New York can still spend a big money to sign him. Denver only have 2 results: swept by other contenders in playoffs and lose Melo after this season, or trade him and receive some picks.

Timberwolves or Kings are two teams have cap space to receive high-paid and expiring contracts. Kahn is very active to make some trades if there's a chance.
