Yikes.

I was hoping we were done with the awful grey tones. I like the idea of a homage to our awesome 80s uniforms, but the execution is horrid.

TOO MUCH GREY

Grey should be no part of our color scheme. This looks like a short sleeved pyjama.

That said Bledsoe is a poor model for this, tugged in jerseys don't look good on him because of his stocky strong build.

I kind of like it, although it seems like the number is more prominent than the Phoenix word mark that should be more prominent

I'll bet seeing a mock-up of those uniforms was what pushed Dragic over the edge.

God that is ugly.

I really hate that they've gone away from purple and have focused on orange more.

Looks like my old high school gym class gear. Not a fan.

bring back the tom chambers/dan majerle jerseys

+1. They need to go back to the pre 1992 old school jerseys. SA & POR are the only 2 NBA teams I can think of that haven't changed their logo or uniform designs in the last 20 years. DET even went back to their old unis.

Boston and Chicago have not changed either.

And now you've got teams like the Knicks, the Warriors, Detroit, the (Charlotte) Hornets, the Jazz and the Nuggets all essentially returning to their classic looks.

The Suns did some little touches on the current uniforms to nod towards the past, the sun rise on the shorts, the streak across the chest, and its a big upgrade over the hideious stuff Nash and Co. were wearing but I think they'd look a lot better if they'd gone all in towards the retro. Especially on the home uniform. That thing would look 10 times better if you replaced the black trim and lettering with purple.

Another T-shirt? Weak!

It looks like a warmup jersey.

It just doesn't fit the image of the NBA.

Was it designed by someone in the team shop to increase revenue?

I'd leave that to JC Penney.

Unfortunetly yes, its all an effort by the NBA to drum up extra jersey sales. They have decided that the average... hefty... American is too self conscious to go out wearing what is essentially a loose fitting tank top. So they came up with these monstrosities, which paradoxically are far more form fitting that the regular uniform.

They're awful. I've yet to see a sleeved uniform which looks like anything more than a bad set of pajamas.

Although someone on another forum did say that this new set reminds them of a janitor or mechanic. Not sure if thats an upgrade or downgrade.

Watching them live, they're not pleasing but they do look better than in the PR photo. And they don't make my eyes bleed like the orange pajamas do.

So... I guess that is a compliment.

Amen, Warren. Why the hell don't they do this already and stick with the one true classic?
