Suns to sign Orlando Johnson to 10 day contract

The Suns plan to sign SG Orlando Johnson, recently with the Austin Spurs of the D-League, to a 10 day contract. I think the Suns should be happy with the play of Jordan McRae also a 10 day contract player. These moves make me think the Suns are planning a trade involving a guard.

The Suns seem to like the Austin Spurs of the D-League. Earl Watson was an assistant coach there and Orlando Johnson is from the Austin Spurs. Jordan McRae was drafted by the Spurs. I bet there must be other connections.

If Hornecek was still coach Johnson would be our primary ball handler and scorer like McRae was for a bit when he first played. Same went for Cotton.
