I wonder how the suns will react...

This should be a fun game to watch/listen to.

The Suns better win this game

Mike D' just announced during his pre-game interview that he's starting Jahidi at Center . . .

with Marion at the '4' and Johnson at the '3'. When Googs comes in at the '4', Marion will move back to '3'.

This is probably the first time I've actually seen Jahidi White in action. My God, the guy is like a tree. Magloire is a better player, but man, he couldn't even BUDGE Jahidi--there is no way that Magloire is going to get close to the basket when White is out there.

And can I say to Shawn Marion, what the hell was that 3 pointer???

Marion should not attempt another 3 for the rest of his career. It has absolutely put a "disease" into his game.

His next 3 went in! We are well on our way to scoring 100 points and also giving up over 100!!!

I'm sorry, but I disagree. I think it has expanded his game. He might have been a little more fun to watch when he was hanging around the basket all the time, but he's a better player and better for the offense now. The second half of last season he was one of the better three-point shooters in the NBA.

Now he just needs to use the ball fake more to get around defenders and get to the basket. He doesn't seem as timid this season however.

Ironically, that's the problem. He's got "Charles Oakley Syndrome".

As soon as he hits one... open the floodgates. He thinks he's the next reincarnate of Reggie Miller.

Actually, I hate to bust on Marion. He's hustled for 4 years. I just wish that he would take his game to the next level. He's not that far off.

If he moved better and often w/o the ball... he would be damn near unguardable.

I'm actually pretty impressed by Penny tonight. He seems to be playing pretty smart and is actually active on defense.

Need to get those rebounding numbers out though!

Joe, I guess I'm commenting more on the timing of his 3's. There are times when Marion could easily step 2-3 feet in, and still get a good look.

Plus, I've NEVER seen Marion hit a big 3 late in the 4th. (I'm sure someone will refresh my memory. ;) )

Every time we get a stop we give the ball right back to them, we look out of shape alot of heavy breathing going on.

I don't like the officiating in this game. They're letting them play on our offensive end, but not on the other end. NO is getting a lot of free points.

This game though is really showing our dependence on Amare and Z. We really need Scotty to come out there for a little bit. Jahidi is all right, but he doesn't provide anything on offense, and Jake really isn't either tonight. At least Scotty spreads the floor a little bit.

The Suns just look outmatched tonight. The Suns are shorthanded and undersized.

I like what I see as far as ball movement and player movement so far. They really need to close out on the shooters a little quicker.

This is a tough match up for the Suns right now.

This game-plan is kind of silly. How many open 3's did the Hornets get in the second quarter? I understand that the Colangelo's want to have an exciting team and score a lot so they can pad their wallets, but without Amare and Zarko, it's tough for us to score, so simply trying to outscore our opponent isn't going to work. I thought Frank Johnson proved that. Guess not...

Well, I do think they are more fun to watch so far. You can't really expect them to not get outrebounded badly against a very good rebounding team and without Amare Stoudemire or Zarko Cabarkapa. That and a few bogus calls are the difference in the game.

It sure seems like the Hornets have grabbed more than 7 offensive boards.

Does anyone else find it a bit absurd that people are still talking about Baron Davis for MVP? The guy is shooting 38% from the field and taking over 22 shots per game.

So far, NO's game plan is working - make the Sun's shoot a jump shot. When you think about it, that's pertty easy to do with our inability to get the ball to the basket and the love of the 3pt shot. Watching jump shots bounce off the rim is not exciting basketball.... Dunks & lay-up's + 1 is what I would like to see.....

TAKE IT TO THE HOOP! Move the players without the ball. Is that too much to ask?

Oh my, was that a give and go between Marbs and Marion? I'm amazed.

I really hope that Joe Johnson's playing time diminishes when Zarko Cabarkapa and Amare Stoudemire return. I'm really tired of his poor shooting.

New Orleans should be getting called for defensive three seconds about every other time down the court. Their big men just are not coming out of the lane at all.

Looks like someboy woke up - I can't believe CJ moving without the ball. The Sun's are actually going inside. Maybe there's hope yet.

In one of the quick clips they showed going into commercial, Jake had his head stepped on and managed to roll away before his head was smashed into the ground. That could have sucked.

CJ shows so much more grit and heart then JJ.

I like his character, I hope they push him more then JJ as far as minutes go. He clearly deserves more.

why is it our center who ever it is, is the only one trying to rebound the defensive board, when NO has 3 or 4 guys crashing? I guess thats an easy way to cherry pick!
