Note

The Cardinals mailed certified letters Tuesday to those season-ticket holders who were selected in the team's lottery for Super Bowl XLII tickets. The NFL assigns 5 percent of the allocable ticket inventory to the host team, which accounts for about 3,000 tickets. The team set aside two-thirds of its allotment for season-ticket holders, including one-third that went in a previously announced random lottery based on seniority and number of tickets in the account.

so 1,000 tickets to random season ticket holders...1,000 for the ones who bought the whatever suite or something tickets that would give them super bowl tix?

Yeah, my odds aren't good.

Better odds than winning the powerball..

Damn, I had a fortune cookie yesterday that said "You will receive a letter of great importance in the coming days"

Why did that cookie have to get my hopes up, LOL!

From the note above, with the 2/3 and 1/3 designations, it would appear that 500 pairs of tickets (1,000 total) went to the Club level people and another 500 pairs of tickets (1,000 total) were included in the general ticket holder lottery.

the cowboys would do the same I would think. I would love to GO to a super bowl, and also to sit in club level seats but the profit is undeniable. I got BCS and fiestas last year and sold them too, maybe if it was a cardinal superbowl or if i didnt think NE was gonna win for sure id be interested.

Super Bowl tickets are selling on reseller sites like Stub Hub for 3-15 thousand dollars PER TICKET.

As cool as it would be to go to a Super Bowl, if I got the tickets, there is no way I wouldn't sell them. The only way I would keep them would be if the Cardinals were in it. I could sell the set and put new 47" LCD TV's in every room of my house, including the bathroom.

Personally, I would go with 50-60 inches in the bedrooms and living rooms and do 19inches in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. :)

If the Packers go you could make a buttload of money selling them..

I've already had two guys approach me and say, if the packers get there, can you see if any of the season ticket holders want to sell theirs.

I said your moneys safe the packers ain't gettin there...:D

If any of you guys get selected, I'll pay $4,000 for two tickets. I'd rather buy from a Cards season ticket holder than from eBay.

Bart: Sharing is a bunch of bull, too. And helping others. And what's all this crap I've been hearing about tolerance?

Homer: Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I got a letter ffrom the Cards in the mail yesterday and I was getting excited.. Then I opened it and found only a crappy X-Mas card.. I like the X-Mas cards every year, just was thinking it was the lottery voucher..
