On right now, 2nd half about to begin. 29 minutes before ultimate heartbreak. I can never watch this game past Fitz's long TD catch and run.

I still can't watch any of it. I haven't since the day I walked out of that stadium. I turn away from highlights.

Yeah, I just switched over to it and immediately changed the channel.
I just can't do it.

I wont watch it until we actually win a championship. I was there and had too good of a view of the Holmes TD catch.

As Fitz said before the 2009 season, "I know the outcome already. Why do I need to go back and watch it?"

I watched right up to the TD by Larry, which put the Cards ahead. I had forgotten that Larry had only one catch through three quarters before exploding in the fourth. Also, I was amazed by the number of Cards who played a big part in the Cards' SB run, that are no longer with the team. Guys like Q, JJ, Gabe, Gandy,Steve B, Urban, Gabe, Laboy and of course Kurt. I'm sure there were lots of others. NFL really does stand for "Not For Long".

Turned on the TV just as Fitz made a catch inside the 30 yard line at the 9:00 'ish mark with the Cards down 20-7. Had to switch it off. JUst like PJ1 said, I won't be able to watch it until they win one.
Must be tough being a Bills fan.

I watched every single pass after I seen NJCards' post , You talk about an oline under extreme pressure everydown! A defense with their ears pinned back pass rushing! that was a great game and Levi Brown should have been the MVP. Kurt don't get it off and WR's do not catch it if Levi doesn't hold up to that great pass rush.

Including Harrisons cheap shots on Franscisco in the same play, That dude has a total disregard for sportsmanship. He should have been ejected, But no-the NFL rewards bad sportsmanship, and kicks good sportsmanship in the groin.

I feel exactly the same way. Will I ever be able to watch it?

It's easy to watch for me. After 48 years of watching the Cardinals win nothing just seeing them in a replay of a Super Bowl is fantastic. Of course like many others I turn it off after Larry's TD. Probably the second greatest Cardinal moment for me ever. Coming from down 20-7 to take the lead, awesome stuff.

#1 of course being the clock hitting 00:00 at UPS at the NFC Championship game. How much fun was that? Why don't they ever replay that game?

Ok, have to ask. When the NFC championship game was winding down, did you cry?

No. I was too busy screaming and shooting video and spilling Budweiser on AZCards21. When I got out of the stadium and turned my cell phone back on I had 20+ texts and emails from people about the game. Some old friends I hadn't heard from in years. It was awesome.

Being a die hard Cardinal fan does get you a reputation. Got together with several old high school buddies Friday Night. Some I hadn't seen in 20 years or more. First thing every single one of them asked me: "are you still a Cardinals fan?" :koolaid:

I did, the moment McNabb's 4th down pass hit the turf. Then my phone started ringing off the hook with family & friends callng to congratulate me.

for some reason, I've watched that last pittsburg drive over and over again. The biggest killers to me weren't the Holmes TD... it was a sick play. the biggest killers to me were the missed opportunities. On 1st and 20, both Dockett and Smith were converging on Big Ben, going in for a killer sack at the 2 yard line that would have made it 2nd 28 and he squeezed RIGHT BETWEEN them to get the ball off and pick up like 13 yards. 2nd and 28 at the 2... that team would have been screwed... or at least probably deep enough back that they would have had to settle for a FG instead of the TD.

that and the play right before the 2 minute warning where Big Ben just threw up a duck that Fransisco had a shot of making a play on for a pick if he had any talent whatsoever.

In my opinion, you guys got royally boned by the officials. That (fumble? int?) return for TD just before the end of the 1st half should never have counted -- there was a blatant block in the back before the runner reached the end zone, but the ref who was right there running down the field with the play chose that precise moment to do his best Hellen Keller impersonation.

Sure, the Cards messed up a scoring opportunity right there, but it should only have cost you 7 points, not 14 points.

Maybe you win in the end, maybe you don't, but the complexion of the game certainly changes from that point on, and you at least have a much better chance.

FWIW, I have never watched a replay of your Super Bowl either. I can't stand watching the rustbuckets being handed a championship any more. Seeing it makes me sick to my stomach.

I hadnt watched the last 2:37 since that day and I finally watched this weekend. This play killed me too, I saw it and almost threw up. I wished that Replay would've shown a couple or replays of it, was it as close to being a pick as it looked in full speed?

And yes I cried @ the NFC Champ game.
