Just finished a practice run on my burgers and they turned out mighty nice.
Keeping it simple this year, burgers chips and beer.
Scored some Bubba's Burgers at Frys (amazing for frozen burgers, and I am lazy), hooked it up with the thick sliced Tillamook sharp cheddar, my lady made some perfect bacon in the kitchen, and we got the simple non sesame buns.
Yumyumyum! I am too stuffed to move and couldn't finish the second.
Should only be grilling for about 45 mins tomorrow, woo hoo!

I think I'm going to make a chili con carne I saw them make on America's Test Kitchen.

MESA! :thud:
Well, around here, it depends on who you ask. If you ask dcr, here's the menu: Hot wings.

If you ask me:
Hot wings
Hebrew National dogs
chili
chips
salsa
guac

Nothin' fancy; not going anywhere.

We had burgers and dogs and lots of snacks. Oh, and brownies. You have to have brownies. :)

Leo's Island BBQ! It was delicious and the Hawaiian-style macaroni salad was a particular stand-out. BBQ beef, short ribs, Kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, chicken Katsu (fabulous), fried spam, steamed cabbage and sticky rice.

I think Leo's is a chain. If you like Hawaiian food I can absolutely recomment it.
