Recently Sushi-Eye opend a location in Chander (right in front of the San Marcos) so we went to check it out.

What's so special about this place (where sushi places are a dime-a-dozen)? Their claim to fame is they're the only ones to have a conveyor belt system. To be honest, it's only in front of the sushi bar, while in Japan, the conveyor belts run thru and around the tables.

I must say their fish is very fresh and tasty - the tuna sahimi and salmon sashimi were so buttery good, they almost melt in your mouth. The mussels were very good also. The best rolls, tho, are not on the belt. You have to be seated at a table and order a la carte.

What is strange is that the owners and all the sushi makers are Korean. That is unheard of in Asia - that a Korean would be making sushi (but this is America, after all).

All in all, pretty good - albeit pricier than other sushi joints.
