Suspended Purdue QB Siller reinstated (AP)

Purdue has reinstated quarterback Justin Siller after suspending him all of last season for an academic violation. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Siller was expected to compete with fifth-year senior Joey Elliott for the starting quarterback job a year ago before the punishment. The school announced Wednesday that Siller retains two years of eligibility.
