Murray has been inactive due to a hand injury and this was his first game back in a month. My guess is that Murray replaces him in the starting lineup next week.

Looking at the snaps that Gaillard got, I wonder if Kliff is considering replacing Cole with Gaillard. When the team gives game snaps to Murray and Gaillard I don't think that it is just to give them game experience without seriously considering them for a starting position.

My hope is that this is an acknowledgement that we need better production from those players and we are trying to see if guys like Gaillard or Murray are better without wrecking the line's continuity.

I feel like this is very important because this offseason will likely be about getting Kyler everything he needs and neglecting the defense a bit.

Cause if the interior doesnt improve...Kyler is going to continue his habiut of backing up in the pocket and turn into more sacks. With how teams rush him, setting the front of the pocket enables Kyler to move up which helps his OTs as they do not have to over-set to compensate for the speed rush. They almost welcome it because it gives Kyler a running lane.
