Since I don't want to loose my documents on my laptop again. Anyone know of a software (freeware) that will synchronize my usb drive with my laptop file?

Thanks,
D

This software if very good. If you go into the options you can set rules of how and when you want your data to sync. As long as it doesn't fail I would recommend this software.

I'm loving it so far, it's really keeping my files in sync.

What exactly is synchonizing?

I know a lot about computers, but not quite sure. Assumption is with stuff like excel files.

Right, any kind of files.

You make a copy of a file to another disk or USB flash drive for backup, data transfer, or file sharing.
Syncing means replicating changes between the two copies.
