For anybody that was at the game this weekend...I have two tickets for orange parking. Can I use one of the tickets to set up a shade canopy next to my other parking spot for grilling?

I'd be willing to bet that would be a no

Even if I paid for that spot with a pass? What if I hang the parking pass on the canopy?

I was thinking that this is probably what I would try. When you park, leave the empty space between your car and someone else's car. It's worth a shot. Worst case, they tell you no and just park someone else's car in between.

I can glue a review mirror on the canopy to hang the pass on so that I'm "abiding by the set rules".

I saw quite a few people tailgating in the parking lot, and it looked as if there were quite a few spots available. I'm betting you'd be fine.

The answer is yes! That is what we did and are gonna to every game. We are pulling all the extra tickets together and getting a big space in Lot F!!

From rules and regs-

- A parking permit is valid for one (1) parking space only. Vehicles pulling a trailer will not be allowed access at Sportsman's Park. Vehicles taking more than one parking space or parked incorrectly will be subject to tow. All fees associated with the removal and impounding of the vehicle will be the responsibility of the owner.

- Tailgating in the parking lots must be limited to the area directly behind the vehicle. Tailgating in empty stalls is prohibited. We encourage all fans to use the lawn areas

The answer is 'Yes as long as you can get away with it.'
But any other fan with a pass or a lot attendant can bust you at any time of their chosing.

We were told as long as you are using a parking pass for the empty space you are ok. But you cannot just use an empty space that does not belong to you. They let us keep an open one this week because there was a pass for it. Makes sense really, if you own a pass you own a spot, and that was how the attendants saw it Saturday.

That totally makes sense. You paid for the spot, you should be able to use it.

I saw a tow truck making the rounds in the west lot Saturday.
I wonder what that was all about.I guess I'll be sure to hang my parking pass from the mirror.
