Any Almodovar fans here? The guys makes incredibly compelling films.

Just saw Talk to Her. Thought the screenplay was excellent. I think it even won an Academy Award. The film centeres around the frienship formed between two men who are completely different, but both share the fact that they are in love with women in comas.

Not an action packed film by any means, but a wonderful charater piece.

Its in Spanish. If you dont like film as art, stay away, but otherwise, definitely check it out.

Huge Almodovar fan.

I liked Talk To Her quite a bit - I'd actually say that this is my second favorite film of his (Women on the verge of a nervous breakdown being #1). I saw this film as a maturation of his technique. He kept the flair and surrealism that make his movies great but his visual style has grown by leaps and bounds the last few movies. Good stuff.

I'll have to check that out. I've only seen three of his films, but I thought they were all fantastic.

I recently watched Women on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Decent film, but it just wasn't for me. A little too over the top for my taste.

Great film. It was part of my foreign-language movie binge earlier this year. Unforgettable, original storyline.
