Where should I look for a hotel? my buddy is a former race car driver so having to drive a few miles to the stadium is no problem. Where is a good place to look for a hotel? Good bars and such.

Why even play the game Sunday? Hell, my Eagles shouldn't even fly out to Arizona and show up for the game. The Cardinals NFC Champion shirts are already printed, the SB tix are already being bought, the hotels are already being booked.

Actually, I know is presumptious of me, but hey, airline tickets and hotel fees can be refunded. All I'm doing is trying to save some money on the chance that hell freezes over and the cards luck out against the eagles.

Problem with booking SuperBowl hotels is they want their money upfront and non refundable.

Good to know as I am waiting for a few responses before I attack that task. Have my airline tickets booked just need to start looking for a place.

My buddy has a friend who has a beach house in daytona beach (on the friggin' beach) reserved for us, but I kinda want to be with the bulk of the Cards fans that will be present in tampa should the cards be so lucky.

Umm, no. I don't know what board you're reading, but there are plenty of threads on the Eagles board saying not to overlook the Cards. There are a few who are confident, but being Philadelphia fans, we are trained and conditioned to expect the worst.

Daytona is pretty far from Tampa. At least a couple hours I believe.

Then you're in for quite a surprise. I don't see what would make you believe the Eagles are getting blown out in this game. The Eagles very rarely get blown out at all.

I don't have a life? There have been several low-life Cards trolls on our boards. I came to talk about the upcoming game, not to troll. And as of right now, 10:00 PM on a Wednesday night, no, I do not have a life. I am not usually out with friends or hitting up the bars on Wednesday nights.

Well I think Fitzgerald is the better overall receiver, although they are both very different types of receivers. They're both physical, and incredibly strong, although Fitzgerald obviously has the height and the hands to over-match any CB in the league. I think Boldin's hands are a bit more suspect, but his strength, speed, and physicality make up for it. For the record, I'd kill to have either on my team. Eagles fans were praying that we'd be able to have Fitz in Eagle green this season.

I'm no expert on the area but IF I did go to the game I would be flying standby.

It has been suggested I fly in to Orlando, rent a car, and Priceline some hotels in Lakeland. It helps we are the first game of course !
