I must be old because to this day whenever I hear someone mention Kurt Warner...I think first of Curt Warner and then the other Kurt Warner. LOL

Probably one of the best RB to ever come out of Penn State. Was one of the best in the NFL, until a horrible knee injury ended what could have been a HOF career. Seattle was in the AFC West back then. Raiders were always my 2nd favorite team, so I hated Seattle even back then.

I hope the Cardinals keep them silent this weekend, but I don't mind the 12th man thing in Seattle because I really liked it when Mack Strong returned the week after suffering a career-ending injury to raise the 12th man flag. A lifetime Seahawk whose contributions the fans really appreciated.

Before the NFC Championship game I picked up a bunch of small plastic megaphones from a party store for everyone in my crew. I gave some away to other fans based on who could be loudest. They really amplify the sound & direct it toward the field.

They're cheap & I didn't get hassled for bringing them in, so I recommend every Cardinal fan getting some. Together we can make the Nest even more hostile to opponents! If you're going to scream your head off til you lose your voice, might as well get the maximum effect!

Their QB looks like Prince, but I think Prince is taller. I don't care what they say. Marshawn Lynch is a smart man, he never talks in public because he knows he's sooooo dumb. Self created over rated Richard Sherman... and his twitter account... I mean seriously brah? Starbucks, Greeon, beats by Dre, the never ending crappy weather.... it's why Kurt Cobain was so depressed. Cheat Carroll. The NIKEY billboard futuristic funky ass uniforms... hey Seattle... the future called, they said you got it wrong. Half the stadium is filled with bandwagon fans now, while the real 12th man has to watch from home, lol, they can't even get loud like they used to. Heroin is making a serious come back.

I dig Prince, I have all his LPs and I dig Russell Wilson the player but I can not stand that metallic Peter Max Nike blue and green but I still love that short Minneapolis purple lol

I did that a few years ago and TOTALLY got hassled by security. Their argument of its a noise making device didnt hold up to my rebuttal of "show me how it makes noise"

I might have had to ask (politely) for a supervisor. I honestly dont remember but they are so cheap that even if you have to throw it away its not a big loss.

I got mine at Party City. Red ones. Just fyi.

Prohibited Items:

Noise Making Devices

Musical instruments or any types of noise making devices are not permitted inside University of Phoenix Stadium. This includes, but is not limited to, items like air horns, cowbells and whistles.

--------------------------------------------------

I don't see how the device makes any noise on its own, but it is likely up to their discretion.

I was made to feel like a criminal at the gate last week because I brought my sealed bottle of water in a water bottle carrying case - like a coozy - and they wanted me to throw it away. I demanded to talk to a supervisor and he said it would be allowed THIS time, but I was told not to bring it back - even though I've always brought it to UOP. I asked where it was listed on the Prohibited Items list and got no answer.

Brought it up when the Big Red Team called me to see how the game experience was. Told him that a SAFE worker inside had the same exact water bottle holder. Total joke.

I didn't want to start a whole thread about this but has anyone else noticed a difference in Russell Wilson this year?

I really liked the kid up to this point then this year he is totally different. He has no humility and no accountability. Whenever Seattle loses he has the same line now; "It just wasn't our day."

In the past he would just talk about how he needed to play better and so forth, now he just acts like they are the greatest team of all time and the only way they can possibly lose is to be "unlucky."

Have heard many similar statements from him this season, even after games where he did not play well and was probably most resonsible for the loss. "Ball just didn't bounce our way." "It wasn't our day." "We just didn't get any breaks."

He's suffering from a little Kanopickles syndrome it seems. It's the whole "It's not my fault" mentality of his whole generation IMO. No respect for opponents even when he gets beat and no accountability for his own mistakes. Shame, hope he grows out of it. Just heard him in an interview talking about losing to the Rams and to the Cardinals last year and even the Cowboys at home. "Again, it was just another one of those games where things just didn't go our way. Just like the game against Arizona here last year, we just couldn't get a break." Uhh no dude, actually you got a lot of breaks pretty much. You dont remember those passes getting deflected and intercepted? Didn't Palmer give you 4 turnovers, yet you couldn't score. You just got beat, the Rams beat you with trick plays, the Cowboys spanked you guys and the Cardinals flat out shut you down all freaking day. I saw similar attitude after their win against New York, all he did was talk about how great he played. Get humble kid, maybe your team wouldn't have so many chemistry issues if you were a little better leader and took some responsibility for the outcome of losses as much as you do after wins.

PS, you dont need to bring one, they give you a mini megaphone everytime you walk into UofP. It's called a game program. :) It works really well. I had my whole section doing it at one point

That would be senility for a Cardinal fan to do that, not age.

Whenever I hear the name Abdul-Jabbar on Sports Center, I just KNOW they have to be talking about the former Dolphin RB. :p

I'm not gonna knock & bury the Hawks yet. They're still the champs & capable of catching us quickly given out remaining brutal schedule. Until we have an X by our name in the standings the west is still up for grabs & that includes the Niners. Whomever wins this division earned it in December not before.

I saw a lot of people wearing Seattle merchandise today, and, yeah, it was all brand spanking new.

bash those fans and the 12th man thing all you want... they've created EARTHQUAKES. I don't care if you're bandwagon or not, that's freaking impressive.

Everything you do creates an earthquake. EVERYTHING.

If I drop a piece of paper on the ground, I create an earthquake.

In other words, EVERY stadium, from little league to Seattle creates turbulence/sound waves, that is earthquakes.

In other words, it's all just hype. We could say that about ANY sports event ever... or any action, natural or man-made that creates turbulence. Every step you take creates a mini-earthquake.

Some time back, some moron decided it would make 'news' to set up a earthquake detector nearby stadiums and various events and hyped it. Sadly, people never stopped to think it through. It means nothing. But since it makes a good storyline, people pick up on it, and thinks it means something.

It doesn't.

..and of course the intensity of the 'earthquake' is malleable. In other words it can be rigged.

The same event measured by a seismograph can give different readings based on WHERE it is located. 100 feet away will give a different reading then a mile away.

So overall when people say it 'created an earthquake', you can say YES it did, and no, it's not special or 'earth shattering'.

In NBC Saturday morning commercial spot-speak....The more you know....

How perfect that I am reading this while watching a piece on P. T. Barnum.

If you don't think that we cause some earthquakes at UoP stadium, just sit still in your seat after the Cardinals score a big time TD.

That place was rocking after the TD vs the Eagles. Like Cardsfan88 said, its all hype.
