Taunting

Is there an official definition of taunting in the NFL ref's book?

Just curious, because there have been a few plays at SDS when I expected, but did not see, a flag thrown.

I remember a taunting call in the Baltimore game, when a CB (I think) was running in a pick and he held the ball out taunting the Cards - especially Blake.

I don't remember the specific plays, but in some of the home games this year, the other teams' WR/DB slowed down and once even stopped before crossing the goal line, making a point to the Cards that they wouldn't catch them. One player practically ran into the endzone backwards... It's definitely "showing up" the other team, but how far must it go to constitute taunting?

It was Chris McCalister who was taunting Blake and yes he should have been called for that. When Randy Moss is doing 360 degree spins into the endzone or when people are stopping before the goalline that is taunting and they should be flagged. Now Dyson was just fined 5000 dollars by the leauge for giving another teammate a high low double high five after a INT ..that is bullsh1t. The NFL office is throwing out a fine every which way right now and it is unacceptable.

I couldnt believe that the back judge stood and watched as the Rams DB taunted him, the Cards and the fans as he walked to endzone on theint return several weeks back. He deserved a flag for sure.
