Thought it might be fun to cut through the hype and pick a team on the way up or on the way down. You have to have one of each, and since this is an Arizona Board, the Cardinals can't be included. I'll start with two teams:

Going up-The Chargers. Basing that on their QB continuing to improve and the addition of Kahil Mack to their Defense.
Going down-The Packers. They still have Rodgers but no Adams and their entire WR corp doesn't impress me. At some point AR has to start feeling his age.

And since the PS games haven't started feel free to add or change teams prior to the start of the regular season.

I'll be surprised if the Ravens don't improve. They had more injuries last year than any team I can ever remember having. Even though they are talented, I think the Bengals don't make the playoffs this year.

The Bengals over achieved last year to finish 10-7. Along the way they managed to lose to the Bears and Jets. They could be a more consistent better team this year and not even make the playoffs.

Patriots, Seahawks worse
Ravens better

I would have put the Broncos as better, but not much upward mobility possible in the AFC West.

PA, I disagree, because of:
1. Still no deal with the QB.
2. Their WR's are very weak, and while their TE is good, he's not Kelce or Kittle good.

Saints cannot be worse than last year. I actually see them as a team that will improve. Since they're on our schedule, I hope you're right though.
PA, I definitely agree. I see the Saints passing TB in that Division. Winston was good early last year before he was injured. They should get Thomas back soon and Olave looks good, even if he's a rookie. And TB has to play with a New Coach and an Old QB. And losing their center hurts, along with no Gronk.

Better/worse is so hard to quantify in many cases.
Take the Broncos...good young team...added Russ Wilson...could very easily finish 4th in the afcwest...chargers have a solid team with a badass young qb, could also finish 4th in that division...
Both teams got better. But did they get better enough to move up?

Russ Wilson is overrated & on the downside of his career.

I'm thinking Wilson will surprise and have a big season, especially fantasy wise.
  • Arizona Cards - worse (lack of draft success really shows)
  • Atlanta Falcons - worse (can only get better, but not yet)
  • Baltimore Ravens - about the same (the whole division looks stagnant at .500)
  • Buffalo Bills - better (record drops, tougher schedule, season begins w/ playoffs)
  • Carolina Panthers - better (Baker will surprise)
  • Chicago Bears - worse (cellar has their name on it)
  • Cincinnati Bengals - better (w/ experience, even though S.B. eludes them)
  • Cleveland Browns - worse (may appear better cause division is worse)
  • Dallas Cowboys - worse (a real puzzlement for Boys' fans)
  • Denver Broncos - better (could really shock us)
  • Detroit Lions - better (they turn some of those '21 tough losses onto wins)
  • Green Bay Packers - worse (will take time to get pass game to click)
  • Houston Texans - better (how could they get much worse)
  • Indianapolis Colts - better (a good team starts to figure things out)
  • Jacksonville Jaguars - better (experience will help with their improvement)
  • Kansas City Chiefs - worse (division has caught up to them, hardest schedule)
  • Las Vegas Raiders - better (but extremely tough schedule will get to them)
  • Los Angeles Chargers - better (my pick in tough division, have to stay healthy)
  • Los Angeles Rams - worse (hard to repeat, weak division will pad record)
  • Miami Dolphins - better (getting it together, tough schedule though)
  • Minnesota Vikings - better (division championship bares their name)
  • New England Patriots - better (Bill insists on improvement)
  • New Orleans Saints - better (could be their year if receiving corp shines)
  • New York Giants - better (if Barkley returns to form)
  • New York Jets - better (looking more & more like a real team)
  • Philadelphia Eagles - better (they go as their star QB goes)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers - worse (big trouble in River City at QB position)
  • San Francisco 49ers - worse (young QB to have growing pains)
  • Seattle Seahawks - worse (division appears worse, Rams might stroll home)
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers - worse (Brady has enough and retires)
  • Tennessee Titans - worse (one trick pony behind shaky passing game)
  • Washington Commanders - better (on a limb w/ this one, easy schedule helps)

That elbow issue isn't going to get better during the season.
The elbow issue is no different than it was last year,, except they are managing it differently. Don't fall for the media narrative, because it's WAY overblown. Watch him throw 60 yard passes in practice that are right on target and no look passes to Alan Robinson. Stafford is getting irritated by the breathless, constant questioning about his elbow and surprised that it's such a big deal. The media is hungry during this time of year, I guess.

More people showed up for Cardinals scrimmage than Rams Super Bowl parade. Hilarious.
