well darn that sucks was looking forward to seeing Teixiera in a dbacks uniform, but I bet they kept asking for a deal with Jackson included and i'm glad the dbacks didn't bite. The good news is though the dodgers just had to put Nomar on the dl again so that will hopefully hurt them for the playoff race. Anyone think there is any chance the dbacks try to get bonds in here now that they didn't get Teixiera?

Amazing how they just gave up Kotchman and we were rumored to be offering atleast 3 players. I think we didn't offer that much for him because our rumored package blows ANA's out of the water.

The team with the best record in baseball just got that much better. And while waiting for Teix to get to their club, Lackey almost no-hits the RedSox! Quite a day for the Halos. It cost them Kotchman, and a minor leaguer, that's it. Tony Reagins made a killing, whether or not they sign their new player. Arte can probably make it happen AND get K-Rod locked in.

I'm glad that team is not in the NL.
