because it doesn't seem that it can be done in free agency. And, I know we will have to use one of our top 2 picks to get a QB. Weak OT draft class.

Humphries
Iupati
Shipley
Draft Pick
Veldheer

week 1 is looking more likely than not.

Yeah, the presumption is that we're counting on these guys to get healthy.

But frankly? Nothing on the FA market excites me. I don't see a lot of guys I'd think are heads and shoulders above the lineup listed.

Ane they got Mr Glass behind em hahahahahahhaha. Keim is trash and always has been. Let the Ws cloud your mind. Not being able to draft and prove it deals only get you so far. Not hitting on your early picks starts killing your depth! Getting cute taking guys who changed positions with wasted early picks on sure aint helping

What FA would you have brought in? Norvell wasn't going to happen, while going after Cousins and Brees...Solder? He's not going to leave the East Coast, while his child is sick...wants to be close to home. Who else is out there, worthy of a pre-FA contract agreement?

Andrew Norwell (26) top OG in FA- signed by JAX

Justin Pugh (27)- lost 13 games to back/knee woes last 2 years. Quality LG/RT when healthy.

Josh Sitton (31) - PFF’s No. 6-graded guard for ‘17 Bears. but has been cut twice in the last 3 yrs.

Josh Kline (28) - just re-signed with Tenn

Jake Mewhort (26) - Recurring knee injuries cost Colts best OG, 17 games the past 2 seasons.

Senio Kelemete (27) - Can play every RG,LG,C and RT positions. 22 starts past 3 years for Saints

I would go after these 3- 1. Kelemete 2. Pugh 3. Sitton

I am fine with this line. Wetzel is a quality backup. Watford can come back. If hump, Iupati and Veldheer can stay healthy it is a really good line. its a big IF but that's with every player.

I wouldn't be surprised if Boehm is our center this year.

Sounds like Veldheer is coming off that list soon. Dumb move there.

Flash...the rebuild is under way, very much. New staff = turnover.

It was patchwork under BA anyway. Holding it together with duct tape and bailing wire

If you need evidence that this is a rebuild year, look no further.

They might. I hope not.
Well, we signed two QB's yesterday and released Veldheer today. Of the glaring needs, OL is the most glaring and with paper mache at QB, we need to strengthen the line. They're going O-line in the 1st round. Mark my words.

Yeah, I'd put most need at QBOF, then OL. They may very well go thst way and continue to try to overspend in the QB FA market or throw darts after the 1st round. Maybe they trade up from the 2nd after going OLine at 15.

I can see Cards standing pat in the draft and taking McGlinchey with the 1st pick, and then drafting Falk or Lauletta in the 2nd.

You were also “fine” with our WRs and CBS last year. Are you ever not fine with anything the Cards do?

We had talent, it just didn't work out. No, I do not get overly emotional about things. I am not that type of guy. Logically, is these guys stay healthy, they are good and its fine. If upgrades are not available for a reasonable price we can pay, what is there to get worked up about? its not like tom brady was available at an affordable salary. You get what you get and you roll with it. I look at things differently than you do and I do not attach anywhere near the emotion to it. I just look at what makes sense, what we can do, what we can afford and it all makes sense to me. I'm not sure what people expected when looking at things realistically. Also, if there is nothing available, why get worked up? It is what it is. These guys can all ball. We will be fine.
