Temple's Dunphy signs 8-year extension (AP)

Fran Dunphy has a new long-term deal with Temple. Dunphy and the Owls agreed to an eight-year contract that could keep him with the program through the 2018 season. Dunphy just finished his fourth season as Temple's coach. Financial terms of the extension were not disclosed Wednesday. He's led the Owls to three straight NCAA tournaments, but has yet to win a game.
