Ten Hag eyeing a return to management with Juventus

Former Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag is eager to resume his coaching career in Serie A with Juventus.

Thiago Motta joined Juve from Bologna last summer, but he has been sacked after an underwhelming season.

Juventus are outside the top four in Serie A and failed to get past the last-16 in the Champions League.

Croatian coach Igor Tudor has taken over until June. He has signed a short-term deal while Juventus decide on their next permanent manager.

Juventus may consider appointing Ten Hag​


Ten Hag has been out of work since his dismissal by Man United last October.

The Dutchman had some success with the Red Devils, winning two trophies. He will hope that is enough to persuade Juventus that he is the right man for the job.

After dominating Serie A with nine consecutive league titles between 2012 and 2020, Juventus have been unable to reclaim the Scudetto.

They will undoubtedly prioritise a manager capable of restoring their league dominance.

With a track record of winning silverware at Ajax and United, Ten Hag could position himself as the club’s saviour.

However, other top coaches will also be considered for the job. Antonio Conte, Stefano Pioli and Roberto Mancini are all under consideration.

It will be intriguing to see if Ten Hag lands the Juventus job this summer.
