Tennessee (27-7) lost in the SEC Tournament championship game, 86-77, to Florida (30-4) on Sunday in Nashville, Tennessee.
Following the Vols' loss in the title game, Tennessee learned its NCAA Tournament opponent in the first round.
Tennessee is a No. 2 seed and will face No. 15 Wofford (19-15) on Thursday at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. A tipoff time has not been announced.
The Vols will play in the Midwest Region. The winner between Tennessee and Wofford will play against UCLA or Utah State in the second round.
The 2025 Final Four will be contested, April 5-7, at Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Tennessee will play for its first Final Four appearance in program history. The Vols advanced to the Elite Eight in 2010 and 2024.
Tennessee has also appeared in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament 10 times: 1967, 1981, 2000, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2014, 2019, 2023, 2024.
