Tennessee wide receiver Alton ''Pig'' Howard has been dismissed from the team for a violation of unspecified team rules. Volunteers coach Butch Jones announced Howard's dismissal on Wednesday. ''It's unfortunate, but we have to continue to move forward,'' Jones said.
