No. 4 seed Tennessee (25-6) will open play in the SEC Tournament on Friday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The Vols will face No. 13 seed Texas (19-14) in the quarterfinals.

Tipoff between the Vols and Longhorns is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT and will be televised by ESPN. Dan Shulman (play-by-play), Jay Bilas (analyst) and Jess Sims (reporter) will be on the call.

The winner between Tennessee and Texas will advance to the SEC Tournament semifinals on Saturday against either No. 1 seed Auburn or No. 8 seed Ole Miss.

Beginning with the 2024-25 athletics calendar, Southeastern Conference schools will provide public reports on availability of student-athletes to participate in each conference game in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball.
