The Tennessee Titans' 2025 roster is starting to shape.
It's not necessarily taking a dominant shape. But there's a shape to what the Titans are building.
As the first week of the 2025 NFL free agency period winds to an end, the Titans have added new players in just about every position group, subtracted key contributors from last year's team and deferred certain obvious needs to April's NFL draft, where the Titans own the No. 1 pick.
Given the new adds the Titans have made, let's take a swing at looking at what the Titans' depth chart might look like heading into OTAs and minicamp. Here's The Tennessean's latest projection for the Titans' 2025 depth chart.
DAY 1 GRADES: Grading Tennessee Titans' NFL free agency deals Day 1: Does Dan Moore fix O-line woes?
DAY 2 GRADES: Tennessee Titans NFL free agency grades: How bad is letting Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Ryan Stonehouse go?
If it's not Cam Ward at No. 1, or Shedeur Sanders a little bit further down the board with a trade back, it's going to be hard to field a competitive team. Or, at the very least, a team that looks better or more exciting on paper than the one the Titans fielded a year ago.
The Titans probably add a power back at some point, whether via free agency or the draft. But for now, no changes here.
Another position where the Titans clearly have more work to do. There's no counting on Burks at this point, and Jefferson's hardly a No. 2 option. The Titans need to either add another veteran or invest multiple draft picks in fortifying the group.
FREE AGENCY MOCK DRAFT: Tennessee Titans 7-round mock draft: Priorities shift after NFL free agency ― but not at QB
No changes here. Don't be shocked if the Titans bring in another veteran to fill out the room.
Moore takes over at left tackle. Latham bumps over to the right. The gaggle of would-be starters from last year compete for roster spots, if any remain for them.
Zeitler replaces Dillon Radunz. Depth isn't great, but there are players with experience ready for the call.
No real changes here from last season. The strength of the Titans' defense stays the same.
The situation is dire here. The Titans need help via the draft and veterans. Jones is a start, but not nearly enough.
Gray and Williams better make big leaps between Year 1 and Year 2, or the Titans might need to draft or sign even more competition at inside linebacker. Barton steps in for Kenneth Murray Jr., who was traded to Dallas.
Health questions aside, this is as solid and finished a group as the Titans have. The main question is how the Titans juggle Brownlee, Awuzie and McCreary when Sneed is healthy.
Woods subs in for Quandre Diggs, but otherwise a similar setup to what the Titans had last year. Woods might even be an upgrade.
No kicker on roster yet. Don't rule out a Nick Folk return, but the Titans are going to be patient on this saga.
For those of you keeping count, that's only a 41-man roster. The Titans have plenty of holes to fill, primarily at receiver and in the defensive front seven. The gaping hole at starting quarterback is also an issue, depending on what happens in the draft.
The Titans have eight picks to use in April's draft, which could get the team closer to that magic 53. The rest should be filled with more short-term acquisitions in free agency who can fill out the squad and eat up some snaps while the young players develop.
