The Tennessee Titans continue to evaluate prospects as they head into the 2025 NFL draft. So far, it's clear that the defensive line and adding weapons to the offense are at the top of their list.
Less than 10 days away, the name of another wide receiver has found its way into the Titans’ wheelhouse after Justin Melo reported that the team had a recent virtual meeting with Miami Hurricanes slot receiver Jacolby George.
George fits the mold of many of the wide receiver prospects connected to Tennessee throughout the pre-draft process. At 5-foot-11, 178 pounds, he is a smaller receiver who plays with quickness and suddenness, allowing him to gain separation early in routes. He is also an experienced punt returner, which adds special teams value in an area that was an issue for the Titans in 2024.
While the special teams value will help him latch onto a team as a late-round prospect, he will need to improve his technique as a receiver and add some bulk to develop into a consistent weapon in the NFL.
Tennessee general manager Mike Borgonzi has spoken openly about their desire to add to the position during the draft. George could be a Day 3 gem that fits that and helps fill that goal.
