The 2025 NFL draft is just over a week away, meaning teams are tying up any and all loose ends and finishing up their pre-draft process. This also means that the last few Top 30 visits will trickle in.
On Sunday, a report surfaced stating the Tennessee Titans had brought in Toledo defensive tackle Darius Alexander for a Top 30 meeting, adding another name to the list of potential targets.
Like the other defensive tackles the Titans have brought in, Alexander brings tremendous athleticism and untapped potential to the table. The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder has an intriguing mixture of size, power, and explosiveness that allows him to generate immediate pressure along the interior.
While the traits are there for him to develop into a dominant force along the defensive line, he is a rather raw prospect and must refine his technique to hit his ceiling. Position-versatile, his lack of consistent pass rush skills project him inside along the defensive front.
Alexander is a Day 2 prospect who should make an impact as a solid rotational piece early in his career and has the potential to develop into a quality starter after some development.
The Titans already have a solid core along their defensive front, but could add some explosive developmental depth to the unit. After looking at the players being brought in, it is likely one of the target positions in the middle rounds.
