Tennessee (27-7) will open NCAA Tournament play on Thursday. The Vols are a No. 2 seed and will play No. 15 seed Wofford (19-15) in the first round.
Tipoff between the Vols and Terriers is scheduled for 6:50 p.m. EDT at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. The first-round Midwest Region matchup will be televised by TNT. Brian Anderson, Jim Jackson and Allie LaForce will be on the call.
The winner between Tennessee and Wofford will advance to play against UCLA or Utah State in the second round.
Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes will make his 29th NCAA Tournament appearance during his head coaching career. He ranks fourth all time in Division I for NCAA Tournament appearances, trailing Mike Krzyzewski (36), Jim Boeheim (35) and Roy Williams (30).
The 2025 Final Four will be contested, April 5-7, at Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
Tennessee is one of 14 SEC teams competing in the NCAA Tournament, a single-season record for any conference.
