The Houston Texans have deactivated their top tackler, linebacker Brian Cushing, for their game against the Tennessee Titans with a sore knee, but top draft pick Jadeveon Clowney is active. This will be the first game Cushing has missed this season. His knee kept him from practicing all week, and Akeem Dent will start in his place. Clowney is active for the first time since hurting his knee in the season opener, but Whitney Mercilus is starting for the Texans.
