For much of the season it's been Texas A&M baseball's weekend starting pitching that has been the steady presence for the Aggies. However, through two games versus the Kentucky Wildcats, it's been the bats that have come alive.
A&M (13-13) has scored 20 runs in the first two games of the series.
But ace Ryan Prager gave up six runs in three innings Friday, followed by Justin Lamkin giving up seven runs in five innings Saturday.
In total, the Aggies have let up 21 runs. Kentucky scored 14 on Saturday when the Aggies used six total pitchers to get through the outing.
Now, the Aggies enter Sunday with the series split and Myles Patton on the bump, looking to capture their first conference series win of the season.
Kentucky (16-9) has tallied 24 hits this weekend compared to A&M's 21.
