Tough Loss, UCLA fought back from down 12 at the half, were up 4, but Augustin made a HUGE 3 to get them back and then Atchley hit a huge 3 to tie it.

My one whine was the winning bucket, UCLA had only 4 fouls and when Augustin beat Collison off the dribble, DC clearly reached in and fouled him, no call, then Augustin walked, no call, and then he flipped up an off balance shot that was an airball that James caught and dunked for the eventual winner.

Tough game for Luc, they basically dared him to shoot and he missed too many of them. Nice game from Texas, very quick.

You could tell Collison isn't 100% yet he has no lift at all and was really short on most of his shots. Westbrook was insane on defense, completely locked up AJ abrams who is Texas' leading scorer.

Love had a tough game got in foul trouble, had only 6 shots, couldn't keep up with the pace and had trouble on defense. Had 2 5foot hookshots roll off the rim or he would have been 6-6, but this game again showed his lack of athleticism and conditioning, great player but he's gotta get in better shape.

USC had a tough loss to Kansas earlier in the day, basically OJ Mayo shot and shot and shot and went 6-21, game over.

I just saw the highlights of this game and it appears D.J. Augustin did walk on that play. D.J. Augustin decision making is the one thing that worries me, but other than i think he will be a very good point guard in the NBA.

I didn't think that Barnes could coach this team to a win tonight, but nether the less good win by Texas.

Barnes did a nice job they had UCLA really well scouted, don't guard Luc or Aboya, make UCLA shoot 3's, attack Shipp and Love on defense etc.

Augustin and james were huge, UCLA had a 4 point lead when Augustin nailed a huge deep 3, very impressed he was terrific. Collison played with a substantial brace on his knee that he kept adjusting, but he wasn't limping, he just had a really hard time staying in front of DJ.
