Great coach, and great NFL personality.
Edit: Arians has been coaching since 1975.....longer than I have been alive! Wow.
Being from the east coast, being from New Jersey, I can see how Arians rubbed people the wrong way.
That is fine, but his attitude never bothered me.
Like any NFL coach, he stuck to his systems, stuck by his coaches, and he played and ran this team how he deemed fit.
Arians never was labeled a gambler, but he gambled. Sometimes he won, sometimes he lost.
He finishes as the Cardinals all-time winningest coach, and dare I say the team in 2015 was the best Cardinals team to ever take the field. (Pre-Mathieu injury).
Arians dealt with key injury after key injury and this team finished, at worst 7-8-1. The injuries Arians dealt with every year was always like a sniper came into the game in question, and found the most valuable player on the field, and took him out. It was unreal at some points.
I think it was time, I think it was time not only for the organization, for the window, but for Arians as a person. He has too much passion for the game, and his health has not been great.
Time for him to go to the lake, and enjoy the scenery. He will be in an NFL analyst booth before long.
As for the Cardinals, nothing but great things to say about Bruce Arians from where I sit.
Thank you BA for a great run! Be well. Enjoy your family, and your lake.
PS - This is a thread for saying thank you, and for fond memories. There is at least 2 to 3 threads you can go bash the guy as he heads out the door. Please go there to do so.
