For sparing us a Penn State/Oregon State re-match. :D

And costing every Pac-10 school an extra $400,000.00 and the UofA a chance of playing in the Sun Bowl. Oregon sucks!

Now this makes for an interesting situation. The BCS will now have to choose between a two loss Ohio State team and an Undefeated Boise State for a BCS slot.

Since Boise beat Oregon at Oregon, this game helps on their strength of schedule.

I have a feeling the system will put Ohio State in over BSU, but based on the last BCS game we played, maybe not. I know money and brand name talks, but at least we won our games......

Can we have a playoff already?

I would love to play Ohio State in a game if that were possible. I think we would do fine against them.

Ohio State travels very well and spends lots of time and money in the host cities leading up to and after the game. They are every BCS bowl's wet dream.

and every TV viewers worst nightmare as OSU will go somewhere and get their asses handed to them again. I know why OSU will probably get the bid over Boise and understand it from a business standpoint, but man it sucks from a football standpoint.

oh well, at least we'll get a solid "how good are they" Rose Bowl with Penn St. v. USC. Much better than an Oregon St. v. Penn St. rematch.

I don't think the BCS will take Utah & Boise State. The advertising revenue would come in lighter with those 2 teams in the field. I don't like it but it looks like Boise State is the odd team out. Maybe they can petition the Pac 10 for admission next year, while Notre Dame goes to the Big 10 (11). One more team (Utah) for the Pac10 and those 2 conferences would have championship games and a pseudo playoff system would be in place.

If the Pac-10 is expanding with WAC and MWC teams it will only be by adding BYU and Utah. The Boise market doesn't bring much to the conference from a revenue standpoint, SLC and the LDS population of North America do. It's just like why the Buckeyes will go to the BCS, money talks.

Yeah, unfortunatley you guys are probably right. Boise beat everyone on their schedule this year, but still gets the shaft. Rumors have them moving to the Mountain West after next year, which is stronger than the wac. They will compete right away in that conference.

I agree with you Cheese. They will pick Ohio State for the money reason, not for record.

At least Boise State has won a BCS game in the last two years.....

Sounds like our next Bowl options would be:
Poinsettia Bowl Vs TCU
Humanitarial bowl Vs Ball State (Ball State doesn't want this game)
Humanitarian Bowl Vs. Maryland

ugh...Seems like it's either BCS or the freaking bowl game in our own stadium.
