First off, happy thanksgiving everyone! I'm thankful for ASFN and a place we can all come and rip on eachother. :p JK I really am thankful for the board and the people on it.

Now to the football. 3 games on the menu tomorrow:

Appetizer: Philly @ Detroit...

Yawn (although the NFC bottom half of the playoff picture is still wide open, I have a hard time having any interst in this game)

What to watch: Stafford has looked better since the personel changes of a few weeks ago. Meanwhile the Philly defense that was once ranked 3rd has completely fallen apart the past few weeks. If Philly can pressure Stafford this could get interesting.

My Prediction: Detroit has been playing better, Philly will have Bradford. This is anybody's game but I'm going to go with Detroit at home 24-21.

Main Course: Carolina @ Dallas...

The controversial game of the day. Apparently Vegas has so much confidence in Tony Romo that they are willing to favor the Cowboys over the undefeated Panthers. The Panthers defense is scary good (and getting Charles Johnson back, ugh, they have been this good without him???) but the last few weeks have shown that Carolina can put points on the board as well. Meanwhile Dallas is desperate and any loss from here on out probably ends their playoff hopes.

What to watch: The Carolina D line vs the Cowboys O line. Dez Bryant vs. Josh Norman.

My prediction: Sorry Cowboy fans, I think the sun is setting on this season. Carolina 24-17

Dessert: Chicago @ Green Bay...

Favre is back and will be suiting up for the Packers tomorrow night! Just kidding. Favre will be honored at halftime in what will probably be a pretty special moment. It's good to see him reconcile things with the Packers.

What to watch: The Packers have been up and down the last month. Abysmal loss to Detroit one Sunday then a stellar performance against the Vikings the next. The Bears will have Forte back and some other key players but it's not going to be enough. Aaron Rodgers should pick apart the Bears secondary fairly easily and they dont have the pass rush to disrupt him.

My Prediction: I expect the Packers to win easily in this one. Crotch photos for everyone!!! Pack 41-21

Enjoy your day tomorrow and my best to you and your families.

What say you about these games?

Happy Thanksgiving, Bert!

I'll go with:

Philly
Carolina
Green Bay

I look forward, every year, to seeing Jerry Jones' holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas... I don't care) being ruined because I am still disgusted with the way he treated Coach Landry. And because he is annoying. Go Carolina.

Should be good. It's the only night bar SB Sunday that everyone makes and effort to get to the sports bar for NFL action. Normally just too hard with KO times and work and stuff.

Friday booked off work for most of the fellas, so let the booze flow.

Lions, Panthers and Packers too by the way. Pays just over 3/1 for thos we like a flutter.

That's cool English. Are there a lot of fans of American football over there? I always wonder about the London games, if the Londoners actually want to see an NFL game or if the NFL is just shoving it down their throats lol.

I live in the Philly market and the meltdown is on full throttle from the fans after they got hammered by the Bucs. All I've heard all week is how the Eagles will lose to the Lions. I'm taking the Eagles. :)

I want the Cowboys to win against the Panthers (we need help for the #1 seed) but the boys will lose and that's a mighty fine silver lining for me.

Packers are righting their ship and the Bears on the road is too much to ask from them. Packers win this one but it won't be as easy as some believe.

Fully agree, that was horrific. I had to play a song I like just to clear that noise from my ears.

I'm glad the Lions didn't have a game like this against the Cards

The Eagles have fallen and they can't get up. Chip Kelly could be gone before the season is over at this rate.

I'm happy for stafford. After the way he played in our game I thought his career might be over.

Pretty sure the cardinals had a say in how Detroit played that day. The Eagles are free falling

what did they say?

They talked for about a full minute about the Cardinals as a serious championship contender - praising the way Palmer has been playing the last two years, and Arians' coaching. Not sure what triggered them to start talking about the Cardinals - my ears perked up when they were in mid conversation. These are heady times!

Like Daves said;

Aikman was saying he has always been a fan of Carson Palmer and that he finally has a team around him that can win it all. Talked about our defense and Arians. It was cool they sat there watching the game talking about the Cards for a couple minutes!

Ps Tony Romo might be the most overrated QB in history. Man I was really hoping the Cowboys would win this game

One thing I'm really nervous about if we played Carolina in the playoffs is that running inside is their puissance. They could just run at Deone all game, smh.
