I have seen him at so many home games through the years. He is part of our fan base as that one loyal black guy who would dress up with a war bonnet for the Skins. Has anyone ever talked to the guy, saw him on the tube the last game and it felt good seeing the man

There is a guy in section 122 who used to show up to every game in a red tuxedo, but he quit coming at some point while I still had tickets.

He was there for a few years early on, but I don't remember seeing him for a while now. He had basically the same seat in the endzone at UoP so I'll check Sun if he's still there.

Cortez hasn't been shown on the Jumbotron as much lately, but when I got home Monday night, I watched the 1st quarter of the (recorded) broadcast, and ESPN got one good shot of him on the air. I wish they'd go back to putting him on the board more in the stadium - it was always at pivotal moments and got the crowd fired up. What do we get now? That obnoxious idiot "chef cheerleader' Beau McMillan trying to lead a lame cheer "I SAY RISE UP YOU SAY......." not much because everybody hates the guy. Hell give Cortez that gig!

It's no Black Hole, no Philly, Cleveland, or Green Bay. Any demonstrative Cards fan will be upbraided by the authorities. It SUCKS.

I only go to 1 or 2 games a year but I've never had a problem, either me or someone around me being told to sit down. My experience, mostly in the lower bowl, is people in row 1 stand up and all the rows behind them stand up.. When the play is over most of them sit down.. So I just don't get it. I've had people hold signs up in my way but that's about it.

Told to sit down on 3rd down? What's that about? I'm in 110 and a lot of people stand frequently during the game, especially at primetime games. Nobody seems to mind, and definitely nobody telling anybody they have to sit down.

Well, up in the the 300 sections there's lots of opposing fans every game. They whine to to the SAFE staff, staff comes over and tells local fan to sit down. If you don't want Card fans standing in front of you, right in front of their own seat, get a seat in the handicap section or the box. It's just the the whole "be nice to the tourists" attitude that is so WRONG at our local stadium. The wrong authority is is in charge. I miss SDS. The Glendale stadium is sterile and corporate.
