Any list of greatest movie fights that doesn't include the fight between Sean Thornton and Red Will Danaher (sp?) in The Quiet Man, but does include a fight from a CHICK FLICK and one from Charlie's Angels, of all the stupid choices, loses all validity to me.

Thanks. I won't be reading it.

Have to give them props for including Road House, Fist of Legend, and Tony Jaa in the list though. But I agree, some of those choices are just plain stupid: Bridget Jones's Diary? Seriously?

I hate these lists, they seems to want to appease everyone (specifically I'm talking about women and chick flick fans). Choose the fights that encompass good choreographical sequences and balls out testosterone fueled rage and make a separate list for "Fights in movies you will probably see with a woman"

the best fight scene of all time was in John Carpenter's Political Science Fiction classic THEY LIVE.

Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Keith David, kicking the crap out of each other for what seems like 15 minutes because David wouldn't put on a pair of sunglasses is unparalleled as far as fights go in the history of film. Kicks to the groin, garbage cans on heads... there's even a freaking suplex in the middle of it!

Bar none, best fight of all time.

wow... it's actually on there also! I can't slam a list that actually recognizes that gem.

Bar now, best fight of all time.

I was just going to say that Cheese. That's by far the longest fight scene I've ever seen in a movie and it was pretty cool.

I watched it over the weekend(part of it) not a great movie but definitely a cult classic kind of movie.

I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of bubble gum.

I love that movie!

That scene from The Protector was awesome! I think the fight scene in the apartment from The Bourne Identity is better than the one in The Bourne Ultimatum.

And Legend of Drunken Master is good, but has any of you seen Jackie Chan's First Strike? There's an action sequence in there where Jackie uses an 8-foot stepladder as a weapon against a bunch of goons. It has some of the most amazing choreography I've ever seen (it certainly tops the scene in Rumble in the Bronx when he's squirming through shopping carts and pinball machines).

I loved that scene in First Strike!

My favorite Chan movie is probably "Who Am I?", which is lighter on the crazy stunts, but has that certain something that keeps me coming back.
