I subscribed to the Athletic football show feed so I could listen to the Playcallers -- a five-episode narrative series about the Shanahan coaching tree. That was very cool. I kept on it because I like Robert Mays from his days at Grantland and The Ringer (maybe for a minute?).
Daily football podcasts can be kind of dicey, but the Athletic is a fairly good one so far (maybe a month or so?). The only bad day is Thursday because their Football GM Show has some crank as the expert.
The Wednesday show is really good -- prospects to pros with Nate Tice and Dane Brugler going over upcoming prospects.
Anyway, would recommend. I dumped The Ringer Football Podcast last year and this one has been much better.
