I watch both the Bachelor/Bachelorette, right know we are in a season of "The Bachelor-An Officer and a Gentleman", how corny is that?
The B&B are my equivalent of watching a train wreck, it doesn't bother me to miss is but if it is on I watch in utter fascination at the extent people will go to trying to find "the One". Then I spend a bit of time wondering if they realize that once the show is over and they have to go on as real people they will have to get to know each other all over again. It is a completely unrealistic dating picture. First no one IRL would ever put up with a group date, not happening, and then how does dinner and a movie begin to complete with jetting to Aruba for sun, fun and seafood?
