That's baloney. Not a bit of evidence it was tipped. The trajectory of the ball did not change.
I posted this to add to the hilarity of the whole event. In the entire scheme of things this stolen victory is a joke.

Uh, helmet to helmet. There were two fouls missed if not tipped. Either way, saints win that game.

There were more than two missed calls that day. Heck, more than two missed calls on that play alone. And, no, a Saints victory did not hinge on that play.

I was stating two fouls simultaneously occurred on that play. This is absolutely a case of a call determing the outcome of the game.

And I am stating that other uncalled foul(s) occurred during that same play. One could not say with certainty that it determined the outcome of the game.

You're right. There could have been a miracle drive that fans will be raving about 50, 100 years from now.

I watched the video over and over and could not see any evidence of the ball altering trajectory at all. If the ball was tipped given the trajectory of the ball it should have risen after being hit. The angle of the hand would indicate this. The ball did not do so and kept on the original trajectory thus no tip or contact by the defensive players hand.

The entire aftermath is bordering on the sublime. Lawsuits? The want to replay the game? Really? If they replayed every game that was decided by a bad call, we'd still be playing the 2011 season.

It wouldn't even take that. A bad snap. A mis-handled hand-off. An interception on the goal line (Pats/Seahawks anyone?). The list goes on of things, not even close to miraculous, that might happen. It wasn't in the endzone and no points were immediately at stake. Therefore it was not certainly a game deciding play.

The ball was not tipped. There is an angle from the defensive backfield that shows the ball several feet out of Brockers' reach.
