Whichever team hits the other in the mouth first in this game I think will have a big edge for the rest of it. I know our MO has been to win late, but I am getting the feeling this one will be different. There is going to be so much emotion in the first quarter from both teams, but particularly Seattle. Kick them in the nuts quick, and it could let all the air out of them. The game frankly means a hell of a lot more for them, and if we get them down, the demons they are dealing with could come out and mess with their heads.

Except against the Lions. We did exactly what you said, punched him in the mouth early. We just didn't have a third punch in us. Worked out, as the Lions never started their offense.

Now, the biggest game of the year is the Atlanta game. We will have a very hard time fending off the Packers, and even winning the division, if we lose this game.
