I saw an extended commercial for this before Pan's Labyrinth in the theater. Looks really good.

Not a bad first show. The beginning was far too contrived and tried too hard to be funny, but it seems like they have a good story to run with. I approved

I liked it, has a lot of potential.

What really stuck out in my mind was the music and how it was prptrayed.
Mark Isham was responsible for the music, I had to rewind.
The man is brilliant when it comes to sound tracks, very impressive.

What time was it on? 9:00?

I was watching TV till about then, and I didn't notice the DVR recording anything. :(

i totally called it... jimmy is "smalls" from the sandlot.

I wonder as the show goes on if we'll get treated to a "you're killing me Smalls" by some Italian Jimmy is giving a beating to? :D

I liked the first episode by the way.

I totally agree about the music. I don't usually pay all that much attention, but this show was different.

I thought it was a pretty good first episode. I'm definitely on board.

I still haven't watched it (though my DVR didn't let me down).

I'm also very proud of myself because I haven't watched the last two episodes of Lost yet. I'm going to try to save up 5 and then have a mini party (me and...well, just me) and watch them back-to-back.

I watched this the other night. I really liked the style of it. Definitely good enough to keep me watching.

I LOVED it. But, I wonder how much I'll like subsequent episodes. They really changed the entire dynamic of the show at the end of the pilot.

I loved how this was a family of miscreants carving out any existence they could by any means. Now, they're not semi-anonymous players in the city anymore. Now, they're the top Irish in town. I think that can't help but change the dynamic of the show.

I'm sure it will still be good, but I think it will be much different.

Sorry guys.....

I miss Studio 60. This show is going nowhere fast.

Huh.

I really enjoyed this one, too. They didn't take it in the direction I thought they were headed after the first episode, and I thought this direction still has this family scratching out a living.

Good stuff!
