Surprising.

Teams that had an easier schedule this year then the Cardinals

Niners
Broncos
Redskins
Jets
Patroits
Dolphins
Bills
Bears
Bucs
Falcons
Titans

I bolded the ones that I think were most interesting. The Panthers were only .002 pts above us in strength of schedule. I am not surprised about the AFC East which is by far the most overrated division in the league. Playing the AFC west and NFC west should be an eye opener about that division.

What seems almost unfair is that the Lions had the highest SOS pts. 0-16 makes a little more sense.

The Cardinals did have an "easy" division to win but they were not the only playoff team that had an "easy" road to the offseason.

The 2008 Cardinals:

1. 9-7, first winning season in ten years.

2. 6-0, swept the NFC West. Win the games you are supposed to!

3. 2-0 versus the Seahawks. That is a more of a personal enjoyment.

4. 1-0 versus Dallas, another personal enjoyment.

5. First playoff game at home in over 60 years

6. First Divisional title in over 30 years.

7. 1-0 in 2008 with Rugbymuffin at the game, another personal enjoyment.

9. Had three 1,000 yard recievers.

10. Got blown out in 4 games, and still score more points than opponents.

This was a good year. There are negatives to be found. But that is quite a list of accomplishments. I probably missed a few as well.

Hey, Rugby...

Pretty nice season! :D Sure we have our "flaws" but then so does everyone else. GOOD teams build on their success. 2009 will be very interesting! GO CARDS!
