Let us get real and admit what we always seem to do. Each year we all discuss all the top OLmen in the draft and anticipate the Cards filling their usual top need by taking one of them. And nearly every year, after the draft, we scratch our heads over the Cards seemingly ignoring what we all had expected.

Well, if Cards stay true to their usual MO (surprise, surprise), we should forget them doing the obvious and taking a OT in R1. That leaves them going to their Big Board and choosing BPA filling some other need. So, with that in mind, what if the expected rush on QBs in the top 10 doesn't happen and those top 4 non-qb studs are gone when we pick at 8. No Young, No Okudah, No Simmons, and No Brown.

So, who would you hope or see us taking. Here are the top ranked players left for us under said scenario.

Jeudy
Kinlaw
Lamb
Henderson
Queen
Jefferson
Swift
Chaisson
Murray
McKinney
Some Other

Who do you think it should be and why?

Lamb if those are the choices, but none of what you just said is true.

In Keim's short tenure he's taken an O Lineman in the first round twice, and has brought in several FA's each and every year. Injuries have taken an inordinate toll, as well as scheme shifts like having 3 different head coaches and four different OC's within a 3 year span.

Keim has never ignored the O Line, that was Graves' undoing. He has set himself up perfectly this year to take the best OL available, and there will be a superstud available at #8 for us.
